New
York Waste - Review
http://www.nywaste.com/nyw_main/music/starr_april04.html
PISS ANT's latest release is nice and nasty. This band's got a lot going for them.
From the start we knew they were the good stuff, here's the evidence.

Modern
Fix - Interview http://www.modernfix.com/features/26/pissant.htm
Piss Ant is wild--I'm talking "These
girls are wild! Too hot for T.V.!" wild. Fronted by the all
too glamorous wild child, Josi Kat, and backed up by another
femme fatale, guitarist, Amy Brandt, these two vixens have the
attitude and the "balls" to deliver a sexy, cool,
fetishy, style punk rock. But what about the guys? Guitarist,
Dave Foster and drummer, Jeff Duarte complete this provocative
ensemble.

Glitter
Girls - CD Review
http://www.glittergrrrls.com/pages/sights/cdreviews.html
Former CoolGrrrl Josi Kat is the lead
vocalist of Piss Ant. Dave Foster is on guitars, Amy Brandt is on
bass, and Jeff Duarte plays the drums. This CD is very in your
face but fun at the same time. When listening to the CD, you're
just waiting for the band to break into, "I love Rock 'N'
Roll" or something.

Musical
Gauntlet.com
- Band Interview
http://www.musicalgauntlet.com.host.sk... Insane
question I ask everyone, bare with me. When you were a kid did
you have a blanket or teddy bear?
JK-I had a purple teddy bear (hey! My parents were
hippies what da ya expect?)
AB-It's been so long I honestly can't remember.
DF-Blanket. My parents had to con me out of letting it
go. Of course I also had an imaginary friend (or at least to
others).
JD-I had a blanket.

Sleazegrinder
- CD Review
http://www.sleazegrinder.com/review_pissant.htm
A well known name thanks to oft-aired VH1 doc
"Porn to Rock", Piss Ant are led by part time fetish
model and full time glam punk Josi Kat, and although there's an
undeniably sexy slink slithering through "Piss Off",
Pissant are hardly a sex toy gimmick band.

http://www.livemagazine.com/jun01/themusicjun01... When
I was told that my assignment was to attend and review the CD
Release Party for one of L.A. hottest punk bands, Piss Ant, I
was beyond excited. I have been fortunate enough to catch
their act on numerous occasions and their energy is beyond
words.

Music
Connection Magazine
- Artist Review
Material: Piss Ant's Josi Kat sings
songs dripping with blistering hostility and carnal knowledge,
backed by a machine-gun heavy sound. As she erupts in the
egotistical rage of "Your Best Sucks", Kat evokes the
aggressive sexuality of Joan Jett.

Las
Vegas Weekly - CD Review
At first, I was a little skeptical.
With a name like Piss Ant and a CD called "Piss Off"
(released on GenXtasy Records and showing a girl in bondage gear
taped up over a urinal), I knew I wasn't dealing with -- as my
cubicle-mate so deftly put it -- a "classy" band.
No matter. One quick spin in the stereo, and I was a
convert.

GirlPunk.net
- CD Review
The
charming moniker and c.d. title prove that sometimes you can
judge a book by its cover. Which means that the music herein is
pretty much what one would expect from a band featuring piss in
its name sporting a dominatrix-clad blonde with bumper stickers
gracing her boobies on the cover.
